I am trying to create a metal flake texture and having some problems. I want it too look like a show room car with metal flakes. I cannot figure out how to do this in Poser or create the texture in photoshop. Can anyone help?
The car I am using is this http://www.daz3d.com/1968-am-muscle-car

In DAZStudio you can make a grayscale map of flakes (simple noise might do it) and use it in on the Ambient -- there are a couple of Supersuit shaders that use that effect. I'm not at home to give details though, and I don't know how that's done in Poser.

Not using Daz Studio.
unfortunate, I was going to suggest these sparkly car paint shaders, but they're for DS.

Poser doesn't have Ambient controls?
See the second pic below -- is this something like what you're going for? I threw some Hurl Noise on a 1024x1024 jpg in GIMP and used it for an Ambient map on 100% white. The supersuit sparkle-shaders I mentioned earlier get a subtler effect by doing the same on the Specular controls instead and tiling.
With a little messing around with the diffuse and other settings I was able to get what I wanted
