So there's lots of giant robots/mecha, but nothing with insides.
What do you guys do for interior shots?
I was thinking of using a tank for interior shots as a similar look.
But alas it seems no one makes tank insides either.

So if we can't find anything- maybe that's a product suggestion.
Maybe even a modular set that can be configured for different mechs.
Something small, almost cokpit in design and something bigger, maybe two decks- manhole accessway...ports....

Oh snaps. we found one with an ...interesting interior,...

I could probably scale this guy up to make room for insides

Any ideas?
Tank interiors are pretty utilitarian and straight forward. However, I think the reason for a lack of mecha cockpits is that no one really knows how the pilot would transfer the commands to the mech. There's the "Pacific Rim" version where the nerve impulses of the pilot (and movement in that movie) were translated to the mech. There are some with nearly aircraft cockpits (not sure how they'd translate). My preference is the neural connection. If that is the case, then the command center would simply be a pilot's seat, neural interface, and several readouts (systems and environment).
Might be a little large for what you want, but Ironstar is a grav tank as well: https://www.daz3d.com/ironstar

Thanks. I do own that and funny, I was planning on using THAT as a starship bridge.
I actually think the overall shape/design isn't THAT interesting- compared to his other products, but the insides are the main attraction.
I mean, I could make my own set and take a small room and cordon it off with panels and such- slap a bunch of monitors around and --yeah, instant mech insides.

On a tangent, you'd be doing very little to control an actual mech- they'd have everything computerized- sorta like how modern jets are.
Balance...walk...run....wouldn't be under direct control - those would be more like routines you trigger.
Used to loove shows like Voltron where all that was controlled by one set of pulleys...lol....
and it took 5 people to work Voltron.
Quite silly...
This might help. I've used it in a bunch of interiors to fancy stuff up.

Combined with the following:

I've used it for a passenger liner -- built an interior from the modular scifi kits, put in a dozen chairs (minus the extra fancy stuff)
I own all of those. Good thing...there were also some pieces from DZ fire that I don't think stayed in the cart until checkout...
It's the Greebles...little sci fi/machinery parts...I think I grabbed one of them because his store only lists 1 for me and I know he had two sets for sale.
