Rosie Hair for Genesis need C8.5 or Daz studio 4.5
unzip it to it's own folder and import the .duf into Carrara
might need a bit of browsing for files in the folders, I still cannot figure the way to set it up
will do a render when I can stop Carrara crashing autofitting clothes!!!
(the hair worked)
mm, maybe for me only, still cannot figure out how to set it up for others :long:

lol gave up and added second skins!
sorry - can't get it to import - try every thing I know of
says file is not set up right
back to the drawing board then :long:
I have updated this three times already, banging my head!
here is the original texture I used btw, and a gimped seamless update, nothing marvelous, just a Carrara hair render for colour!
put it where it looks for it if it works
Wow. Thanks Wendy... I'm Honored!
In the middle of a long render. What is it, conforming hair?
I downloaded it and put the two hair textures here in the Rosie Hair folder for now - we'll see what it says.
Question regarding the animation above:
Is there a way to get it to follow the shoulders and chest?
Damn, girl... this looks great! Can't wait to play with it!
Thank You.
Okay... just checked my Dyn Hair question thread and found this:
Does this mean that I can weight paint on this in Carrara? Any tips - like ... Where do I start? lol
Never done that before.
This is way too cool!
yes it is conformed, that is what the transfer tool in Daz studio does, like attach skeleton in Carrara.
you can also grow it on your Rosie V4 in Daz studio using the LAMH plugin, style and export as Geommetry (not Renderman curves)
then save the obj and import into Carrara and attach skeleton and weightpaint.
You cannot rig it in studio using transfer tool on non-Genesis though.
Mine is not terribly good, I deleted a lot of poke through hairs in Hexagon so there are a lot of loose strands.
with a lot more styling effort one can create better hairdos.
Just thought I would give you a taste of what Alessandro's plugin does!
We need a Carrara hair version!!
Fenric???????? Float1 anyone???
you can redistribute created geommetry but I would not a really short full body one such as fur as it is then kinda close to shrinkwrapping, a bit of head that does not follow the vertices that closely is more like clothes.
I have been playing with rigging my own clothes on Genesis in Studio too and they work in C8.5
that transfer tool pretty neat.
a different gift, really big tiff anyone?

made using Microsoft ice and video shot on my Android, can use it as a 360 background in Carrara
