Snap feature

I'd like to see a snap feature. Two versions, one you select two items by a node and then have then snap together in the scene. A great tool to place objects in a figure's hand for instance.
Also a snap to grid method to help arrange props and figures in a scene.

If a prop is properly "smart propped", it should load at the right or left hand if the character figure is selected.
The Align pane includes stack options which would cover the first part.
As FirstBastion says, parenting with parent in Place off will cover the second.
As for grid snapping, there are options in the tool Settings pane for that.
If you watch the videos related to this product, there is a way to achieve this:

This other product has apparently also included a modular snap-to function which should really be standard by now:

That bike is cool! I'm tempted just to waste a few dollars to play !
The concept is right but not sure that it would apply except for a "set" pre-designed to snap together to included pieces. I don't think this would, for example, allow you to load a G3 Male figure or instance, then load a prop baseball and be able to snap it into his hand.
Well, that's why you purchase baseball bats, etcetera, which are designed for whichever generation of figure you're using - they automatically smart-prop. :)
