Automated rendering

Hi folks,

Does Daz Studio has any way to automated renderings? Like a list of .duf files, where when one is ready, it start rendering the next?

If Daz Studio don't have such thing, anyone ever heard about a script that can do this? It shouldn't be much complex. Entries like:
Step 1:  duf_file_folder duf_file image_folder image_name
Step 2:  duf_file_folder duf_file image_folder image_name
Step 3:  duf_file_folder duf_file image_folder image_name

It would increase productivity at large scale. The creator would just prepare the scenes in his free time, and let the PC work for the rest of the day.

    https://www.daz3d.com/batch-render-for-daz-studio-4-and-rib

that will render 1 scene after another until completion and works with both 3delight and iray

The only limit is it can only render from 1 camera per scene. It also renders from the view you last saved the scene with. So you want to be sure that you save the scene viewing from the camera you want to render through.

I don't think it does animated scenes either, only stills.

What it does is you run the script and select all the scenes you want to render, it will then load the first scene and use it's saved settings (or you can override and use universally set render settings) When the render is complete, it will save the render, close the scene and load up the next one, render, close open the next and so on until all scenes you picked are completed.

    Thank you.

I saw the product description, it only mention 3Delight. In the first page you choose Rib Render and DS Render and below to choose the file for 3Delight batch file.

How can you make it work with Iray?

I also found this batch-renderer-for-daz-studio on Renderosity but there is no comment from users. I don't know if work just fine for this last version.

If your scene is saved with iray as the render engine, then it will use iray

    I think it worth trying.

    Thank you very much
