help! shadow and grain

help! how can i render soft shadow without grains? i used ue2.

    You need to lower the shading rate in render Settings>Advanced tab and/or lower the shading rate or raise the samples in the uberEnvironment settings.

    I'm going to assume you meant 'grains' and the easiest way to do this is to reduce the 'shading rate'. Of course, this will greatly increase render times, but will certainly give you a better overall smoothness to the image. Also make sure you're using the high quality setting (Set Quality 4XHi). This basically improves the number of occlusion samples, reduces the shading rate and gives a much smoother lighting.
