Divine Hair compatible with DS??

Meanwhile I got to know that often there are products only offered for Poser but they run on DS, too.
But as a beginner I can't be sure and I won't waste my money.
This time I would like to have Divine Hair for my K4. The expansion set makes the base suitable for them.
But can anybody tell me, if the two packs should run on DS 4.5?

If it works in older versions of Poser (like Poser 5) there is no reason I can see that it shouldn't work in DS4.5
Wow. How fast are you? Thank you very much for your opinion!
I just happened to be here, although sometimes it does look like I sleep here too ;)
Maybe someone else has these, and can say for sure.
Autofit should make this particular hair work very well if you are using DS4.5 That hair looks nice, I might get it myself...
It wont need Autofit to work on K4, which is what the OP wants :)
Eventually, she might, however. :) That adds value to the hair.
I never worked with "Autofit". I can see that it is loaded in my program (hook and green symbol in the listing).
The description tells me that it is for Genesis figures. Should it work for K4, too?? And how do I manage to use it?
Fabiana normally has the hair fits in the pose folder, well in Poser anyway.
Edited to say that may be wrong, sorry. I look up one of hers and I find the different fits in the hair folder, Was this one a hair prop HR2 or a conforming hair CR2. Most of hers are HR2 hair.
As I can see HR2 and obj files.
...
When I have installed AUTOFIT, does this function work automatically by using 'right click' and choose 'fit to ... " or do I have to go somewhere in the main menu?
Ooo... what a lovely hairstyle. I'll have to grab that one myself.
As I pointed out earlier, you do not need Autofit to make this work for K4, it is made for K4. You only need Autofit to use Gen 4 clothing with Genesis
The Expansion is made for K4 as far as I can see.
As I said, an older hair by Fabiana (FK designs) I have the various hair fits in the Hair library.
As it is made for Poser, this would be in poser formats.
Just as a footnote. Fabiana's hairs render very nicely in Daz Studio, using the non-shader versions. I own quite a few of them and use them quite often.
What does it mean to "use the non-shader version", Ameesa?
For me, the hair works OK on both K4 and Genesis Basic Child
Fabiana works pretty exclusively in Poser, so creates Poser materials (shaders) for Poser users. When you get her hair items, they include non-shader versions. Those are the ones DAZ Studio users might normally apply. Or at least that's how the ones I have work. I don't have the particular hair in question.
How do I use these non-shaders?
That looks fantastic, Mezin! Plz let me know if you did it with DS or with POSER and if it was difficult to make it fit.
I do most of my work in Poser, but for the example picture I wanted to verify if it indeed would work in DS 4.5
I loaded K4 figure, then double clicked on icon for prop hair called "BraidHair-K4" and it's done. The Divine Hair III package installs as "BraidHair" for the varoius figures.
As afterthought, I decided to try on Genesis Child figure. It works but requires some adjustment of position.
While we are discussing hair, it is adaptable to more advanced techniques to enhance it, such as geometry shell.
There is a discussion of this technique in the forum, with link below

I applied that to this hair in attached DS render picture fragment
Thank you very much, dear Medzin, this was very encouraging!
Looks very much like this one to me

Adorable. It even comes with a cute little bonnet as well! Guess those other items on my wishlist will just have to wait. Thanks for the link.
Yeah I love it, even did a few extar textures for it http://chohole.ovbi.org/page_17.htm
Oh, not too cheap. But it goes very well together with the hair style.
