DUF? What the...?

I've discovered much to my annoyance that some of my most recent additions to my D|S library are DUF files. What are these things, and how do I use them?

They are the current format used by DAZ. You need version 4.5 of DAZ Studio to use them.
Unfortunate suffix naming decision though don't you think? Hardly invokes confidence
Since the DUF is the format they've chosen to be both version independent (forward) and cross app compliant (even Poser via DSON).
Look to see if there's a legacy installer - if there is it should have .dsf or even .daz files that will work in older versions of DS. You may also be able to use the Poser version effectively, if it includes DS materials presets.

I knew that Adam. I was just making a lame joke :)
Maybe we should call them Hillary files...

DAZ call their latest program "DIM". I think someone in the company has a sense of humour...
Id like to think so. We'll know for sure when they release the DUD, DIY and DOA :-)
what we really need is a DOH file... DOH!!!!
