[SOLVED] HELP!! Stuck with optimizing 1 image EVERY time I render!

Usually when I open the software, the system optimizes images in my first render attempt, then there is no subsequent optimization in the next renders, it just renders right away when I hit render. Just today suddenly I have this problem where the system is optimizing images for EVERY render attempt, even spot renders, and it gets stuck to just 1 image remaining to be optimized, and this takes 5 minutes. Just what on earth is happening here?!

    Does it finish, or is it actually sticking? You may need to empty the temp folder and restart - it's possible that a file is corrupt and not being cleared in the normal way.
