In case you missed the newsletter or the store banner or the other forums, it seems like these freebies are online for the weekend, to celebrate the Daz Install Manager:

Millennium Dragon 2.0
Homo erectus M4, V4, K4
http://www.daz3d.com/free-3d-models-and-content/

Carrara shaders for the Dragon:
http://www.daz3d.com/subdragon-textures
http://www.daz3d.com/db-animation-kit-1-for-millennium-dragon-2

Any other Carrara related stuff for the dragons or the monekys?

Free if you're a PC member or if you buy a product from the store.

The subdragon is different from the Mil dragon I believe.

Yeah, they shown free without me even logging in. Did you see that the Dragon is on page two (if viewing only 15/page)?

So, you must have been just linking to products to be used with the dragon, right? They're not giving my animation kit away?
Kinda wish they were... that would be cool! Making that was definitely a highlight!
I'm working on a new one - a set of action animations for Stonemason's Level 19!

The reason I posted what I did was this little bit of goodness (which I hadn't observed before):

P.S. I was also able to DL the stuff.

    Were there monkeys?

    Were there monkeys?
I think that they're considering that we evolved from apes, and saying "Monkeys" instead of apes, and then using that angle to advertise Homo erectus M4, V4, K4
    I think?

Only if you're one of those that deny the existence of a few simian ancestors in the family tree. They're the M4, V4 and Kid4 Homo erectus packages.

    Heheheheh! I said erectus!

Wow... Thanks Daz3d! I love that PC Membership. Ever since my first year in it, I decided to just stay in it. It's just once a year to pay for it, and it brings so much cool content into my collection. I've always wanted those Homo Erectus packs for my movie, just haven't gotten round to them yet - and here they are! Some nice candles and a neat tank, too!

From Wikipedia: "Homo erectus remains one of the most long-lived species of Homo, having existed over a million years, while Homo sapiens has so far existed for 200,000 years."

A million years? Homo erectus did something right!

I'm having a problem with getting the morphs to work in Poser8 for M4 Homo Erectus, the ones for V4 and K4 work with no problem but the ones for M4 won't take at all. Has anyone else had a problem him in Poser?

Don't know. This is a Carrara forum! ;-) You may have more luck in the commons, provided your post doesn't get buried.

In fact I am going to split your post out and send it over to the Poser forum as a new thread, in the hope that someone will answer you there.
