IRAY preview stops rendering

Ran into a strange issue this morning where my iray preview renders for a few seconds, and then stops...showing the 'smooth shaded' look in the viewport.

If I move the camera a bit or change the render settings, it starts rendering again for a few seconds and then stops again.

Super wierd.

Nothing unusual in log file, although sometimes I get this message when it happens: VERBOSE - module:category(IRAY:RENDER):   1.0   IRAY   rend progr: Transaction closed, stopping renderer.

    Figured it out. I had an unfit, unparented shirt that was hidden. As soon as I deleted it, all worked fine again in preview mode.

    Had to delete lots of objects one by one until I found the problem. Still weird, but problem 'solved' nonetheless!
