Best way to make clothing fits for G1-2-3 figures that won't interact badly with autofit?

I have made morphs of a V4 outfit to fit the Star 2.0 (G2) figure, but when I try to add it to the figure, autofit kicks in and mades it look awful.  I have tried just  canceling the autofit, but then the outfit doesn't follow the figure when posing.  Parenting it to the chest works for the upper part of the dress, but the lower portion doesn't really move.  What is the best way to make fits for Genisis (1,2 or 3) figures?   Do I need to re-rig for G2?

    AutoFit works on the base shape, your morphs aren't doing anything (though you could export them as OBJ and then load as morphs for the refitted item). Star 2.0 is for Genesis 3 Female - to convert Victoria 4 clothing you either have to AutoFit the V4 clothing to Genesis, then the Genesis conversion to Genesis 2 Female, then the Genesis 2 Female version to Genesis 3 Female, or you need something like Wear Them All for Genesis 3 Female to go in one step.

    Thanks.  I didn't know about that product.  I have put it on my wishlist for now.
