Copyright issues?

Hi
I wish to maybe use some of the 3D models I create for print publication. Would I have complete ownership over that or is there anything I need to do to be able to create and publish freely without paying any royalties etc. (apart from obviously purchasing software / characters / accessories etc. from Daz)?
Thanks
Ollie

You have complete ownership of the 2D renders and animations you create.
With a partial exception for the old Ann Marie Goddard Digital Clone, and as long as the original textures can't be extracted.
Thanks - I'll get hold of the terms too the next time I purchase from the shop.
So I took one of the 3D figures from here and re-worked it to a whole new character figure. Such as the basic Brock character, I re-worked him into a new re-creation you still own all legal rights to the original version as well as the new one I re-created?
On the left is the original basic Brock figure, on the right is my version after re-working, I can't claim ownership of my Brock? (I KNOW I can't the original). This I need to know before I can go any further...(I am about to legalize Dalrock Pictures).
You can claim ownership any IMAGE created with either the original brock or the new one. However, you cannot claim ownership of the 3D figure itself, it's textures, etc. because it is a derivative work of a copyrighted and protected product that you have a license to use that precludes all of that.
ok, I thought so.
In the closing credits I had already planned to say something like:
Original Brock figure from Daz Studio,
Re-characterized by Tex Jones.
and of course give all the credits to the wonderful original artists, including the hair and the clothing.
and I would own the animated video itself
