Searching the site SUCKS!

I was searching the site for V4 bodysuit and I had to go through 19 pages before I found it, then when I went to get snow sultan's templates (the only reason for looking for the bodysuit) I get an error 404 not found. I have found this happening a lot when clicking on links for other products, example M4 bodysuit, links inside other packs.
How can you have such a large site and nothing works?

Yes it does, but there's no need to be rude about it.
Most sites don't do search very well, compared to Google...
Google this exact string, quote marks and all
"v4 bodysuit" site:daz3d.com
You'll get links to the bodysuit and most of the add-ons, and a fair chunk of the forum discussion about the bodysuit as well.
(Another example: Google
"La Fille en Rose" site:daz3d.com
You get links to the A3 outfit, the add-on packs, the pages in the document centre for all of those, the mentions in the Freepozitory of texture packs for the outfit, and so on.)
As for the in-site 404s... that I can't help you with.
If you find bad links suck as the UV templates then please file a bug report here https://bugs.daz3d.com so it can be fixed.
Thank you.
And yes, Google is better.
Strange.
I typed 'V4 bodysuit' into the search bar and got the leather catsuit textures as the first option.
Clicking on that will give you the link to the required bodysuit.
Got there in 3 clicks basically.
The proper name for the suit is 'Victoria 4.2 Bodysuit' and when you search for that it comes up straight away.
As with all search engines, you have to try a couple of things sometimes.
This may be useful to you http://www.snowsultan.com/3.html (actually the 3rd link on Google if you search for 'Victoria 4 Bodsuit Template')
The seamguide for the bodysuit is about halfway down the page.
You beat me to it! I love that little trick!
In most of the older bundles all links to individiual items are broken. But I imagine DAZ is aware of that.
The actual UV template is there. It is the Link to Snow Sultan's Seam guides that is not working. That was held originally on the old artzone site. He has since put them all on his own site, and the OP has been given a link to that.

You know, I think Google has spoiled us...we expect all searches to be as good.
Anybody here old enough to remember going to the library and trying to do research by (ugh) finding a pile of books that "might" have some relevant information and then spending hours trying to find it while surrounded by haphazardly arranged books, papers, & index cards and all while expected to remain quiet when you wanted to scream and tear your hair out?

Or worse....the advanced technology of MICROFILM!

Oh yeah! The advanced method of scanning old newspapers. Just turn the crank for a random length of time, read a few lines, shake your head "no", then repeat the process until dizzy. All the while trying not to run out and buy that Buick for $2000, or convincing yourself that you really don't need a big bottle of "Geritol" or tube of "Bryl-Cream"
Nothing like catching up on 10 years of events by reading every day over again. 8-s
THANKS DAZ for the content installer!! Made my DAY :)
RE: Search
I'm old enough to remember how tedious it was to use the "Dewey Decimal System" used by libraries card catalog systems. Similar to finding your content on the download pages.. Glad that's done with!
Websites don't often have tools that effectively search their own content because the search tools used by many website content management systems do not actively parse website text and product descriptions to build a search table. The search results returned are actually based on a key word match and other very specific criteria established by the website content administrator when the product is added to the store. Its NOT a thorough search algorithm that automatically scans and parses the websites content like Google. This can be improved with better meta-data associations in the product descriptors. Perhaps by linking to the product (DS content manager db meta data) meta-data elements. It would not surprise me if the browser in DS supports this in future editions.
I'd be tickled to death if the Studio content browser would even let you sort the contents by name, date modified, or type. So much potential yet so disappointing. :-(
