Different head and body texture for the Huntsman?

RabeRabe Posts: 0

I purchased The Huntsman. It does not come with a complete body texture because the outfit covers most of the torso. Now I want to use the character with different clothing that does not cover the body.
I loaded the huntsman texture, but how do I get the rest of the body textured?
Do I have to select each surface manually and find a suitable body texture file or is there an easier workaround?
I tried but had a lot of white parts on the body..
Probably I just don't see the wood for all those trees, but I'd really appreciate a little help on this *g*

I believe this product is no longer at the store. You probably want to post in the Artists forum about this particular item: Mec4D Forum.

Yes i heard about that, but its not specifically a problem with "The huntsman", I might want to do that with other textures too, so i thought it would be appropriate to post here.

    Here's my suggestion:

    1. Load up Genesis and apply the Huntsman character and texture preset 1TheHuntsman.
    2. Save a material preset for the head and neck selecting the materials in the attached picture.
    3. Using the same Genesis as above, apply a character MATERIAL ONLY preset that you want to use with the Huntsman head.
    4. Apply the Huntsman head and neck material preset created in step 2.

This should get you a fully textured body with the Huntsman head. You're mileage will vary depending how close the two textures are in color tone, or if you're good at tweaking material settings to get a good match.
