ferret?

Can anyone direct my to a posable ferret, all sites i find lead to no where.

    There's an ancient weasel product, but it's not available any more. That's the closest I'm aware or.

    There's a PurgatoriusDR over at Rendo, but it is really more of a prehistoric Opossum. :)

    There is a serious lack in that whole family of critters...serious gap (like all of them...common/uncommon species...skunks, weasels, badgers, otters, ferrets and so on).

    There was a ferret on one of the Poser content stores that folded a few years ago, but I never thought it looked all that ferrety. Maybe things will improve with the new hair plugins becoming available, though — crossing my fingers.

    Some...I did a GH fur for the skunk on CP, but it only does so much, partly because the 'volume' is modeled into the mesh, as opposed to trying to do some sort of hair, so even with the fur, the proportions are off.

    Tell me about it, DAZ does not even have a realistic mouse, and DAZ pretends to be a family site, and every household should harbor a mouse to put mother on the kitchen table !!! :blank:

    I've been looking for one too. I know Content Paradise has a weasel, which, if you re-textured it.....well, I still don't think it would make a convincing ferret. But in case you want to take a look: http://www.contentparadise.com/productDetails.aspx?id=398

    Though the meerkat is the totally wrong species, but you might be able to use the basic shape : http://www.daz3d.com/meerkat

    and alter it using a texture or perhaps this hair product to at least get you close in terms of look. http://www.daz3d.com/look-at-my-hair

    I am going to join the ones wanting a proper ferret :) Heck, I could even arrange a bunch of pictures if someone was able to make it (former pet ferret breeder)

    would love to see all the colors of them as well *sheepish smile* (albino, sable, champagne, dark sable, silver and so on)... and in all the different poses a ferret could possible be of course :)

    If we don't have a ferret what on earth will M5 be able to put down his trousers when very, very drunk?

    Ferret down trousers is an old pub bravery test. Like most of them you would never do it sober.

    I purchased the old Aeon ferret a long time ago and haven't found anything better. I am going to try using LAMH to see if I can make it more realistic. I have been wanting a good ferret model for a long time now. Makes me even consider trying to make one myself.

    Poseable free ferret by Adam Thwaites? Would likely look real good with a slight layer of LAMH hair to go along with.
