Not feeling the Love...

I'm really bummed out and confused at the moment. I entered the contest on Daz3D Hotties on Friday... According to the guidelines, you're supposed to get 5 votes for each share of your picture, and 1 vote for each like. The winner had 42 likes, and 4 shares, and I had 41 likes, and 12 shares! Now, I'm no mathematician, but I'm pretty sure that 101 is more than 62...

I had originally posted the picture on my own profile and tagged the page in it, as it wasn't posting to the wall of the page. I got a ton of likes and shares there, then was told by the page admin that they didn't count, because they needed to be ON the page. Whatever, fair enough- I got my picture on the page, and got a ton of votes there, too. I double checked that the picture was where it was supposed to be, on the same date as the winning picture, etc. So someone PLEASE explain why I didn't win?!

I don't mean to sound whiny, but I just really see no reason in the world that I wasn't the winner for that day.

    I'm sorry this happened to you. For what it is worth, I think the contest could be done better.

    Thanks- it's really not being handled very well. Seems like they didn't plan it out so well! With all the posting problems, they should just have everyone post on their own page and tag the page of their category in it. They would all be in the "Pictures of Daz3D ..." folder, and there wouldn't be overload issues. And the votes should be counted more accurately, obviously! lol And there are no time parameters, etc.... I dunno. :/

    If I ran it, I would select a random winner. There are some really great entries that aren't getting that many votes.

    And to make things worse, I know that the admin who runs the page has been on there today (they posted to another winner on the wall), and they didn't even bother to answer my question as to why I didn't win. Seems like they are really disorganized, and don't really care about following through with things. I guess I won't be submitting anything else to the galleries. Not a good way to run things. But oh well.

    For questions or concerns about your Facebook images, please submit a sales tickets to be responded to. There will not be responses to posts on our Facebook pages.

    Attn freekmunkee, what page and which image are you referring to, please add this in your sales ticket, I will be happy to correct the matter and apologize for the unintended error.

    Since the original issue is now being handled, and since it was starting to attract some argument (now removed), we are closing this thread.
