Yea! Now that Genesis 8 Female is out, I can finally announce my new product, coming out tomorrow (though date may change, legal argle bargle, blah, blah)
Pose Randomizer was designed to work with Genesis 8 Female. It won't show up in Smart Content because the metadata for Genesis 8 Female didn't exist at the time, but it has been coded for and tested with the new figure.
Eye Clock Pose Control also works with and was designed for Genesis 8 Female.
My wallet is sad, but my creative mind is estatic! I've been longing for something like this and the Bone Doctor plug in forever!! Thanks for the hard work!

As I mentioned in the Pose Blender thread, I bought Blender and Randomizer last night.
I'm having the worst time getting them to work.
I loaded up G3F, put a pose on her, and ran the script.
Got an error:
here is the log file:

I went back and tried to randomize a pose from the shoulder down on the same G3F figure. I clicked on and highlighted the right shoulder. Then I tried to run the Selective Randomize Pose script. Again got an error. However, this time, the script window did come up. The error happened when I clicked "accept". Nothing appeared to happen when I clicked "preview".

The fix that addresses this is now live in the Daz Install Manager
Can you add the ability to randomize the Hip bone's Transformations too? The script doesn't seem to affect it at all. It will really expand the possibilities of poses, if this feature gets implemented
I'm having a bizarre problem with the Randomize Pose script. I applied it to a G8M character that was in the default pose. I had Modify Used Parameters Only checked. His pose didn't change when I hit Preview. That is understandable, because I didn't have any "used parameters". But what did happen is that when I hit the Preview button, a previously deleted item was restored to my scene. It was like it was processing the Undo stack. Every time I hit Preview, it was like another Undo was processed.

Yes, this can happen. In order to "rewind," the script randomizes stuff and saves the changes to the undo stack. If you then hit preview again, it undoes the preview randomization, then randomizes stuff, etc If nothing is randomized/changed, Daz does not put anything on the undo stack when the script asks it to, so the undo rewinds accidentally farther back on the stack. It was enough of an edge case that I never bothered to fix it.

Thanks for the reply and explanation. You can imagine that I was quite surprised when the posing script started loading characters into my scene! Now I am aware of the problem and how to avoid it, I think.

https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/175756/coming-tomorrow-bone-doctor-pose-control#latest
so bone doctor is also a pose randomizer?
No, Bone Doctor is not a randomizer. It is a set of scripts for improving and modifying poses you have. The two products complement each other.
Eye Clock Pose Control also works with and was designed for Genesis 8 Female.
Great, I have bought Eye Clock Pose Control too, so I can play with the new Genesis 8 characters, as well.
That is awesome. Thank you for supporting me. I wish Daz had a loyalty customer program

Yeah, I saw that when I picked up the weekly freebie earlier today. Thanks for that!
