Motion Blur

It's been a while since I tried motion blur, but this doesn't seem right to me. In the attached image, I have the MB set to backwards only, but the animated car blurred both ways. This still frame is in the middle of the car's animation path. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

    You have an awful high setting for the blur intensity with 30 frames. Try a lower blur intensity or fewer frames to see if you get the same effect. If you do, then maybe it is a bug.
