I have a digital comic book and am not sure which format is best to present it

I'm hoping there are some other people on this forum who work on comic books and might be able to give me some suggestions. I have created a digital comic book (a science fiction epic called Max Rogers) and would like to offer it on Amazon.com, but I'm not sure how to set that up. I have created the first three issues so far, and each consists of roughly 500 single-page panels. I was thinking it would work best on Kindle for PC or Amazon Cloud Reader. If any other comic book creators out there have any ideas about this, I would love to hear them! Thanks.

For formatting your book in MOBI, try this link:

It's a little old as the tips are specifically for the old kindle readers, but the basics are still the same.

As for your options, you could also try drivethrucomics, smashwords, graphicly, indyplanet, etc. I also have a digital comic out (2nd issue going on the third sometime in between Now and May) in Amazon and those places. Get your comic/graphic novel out in as many places as you can. Offer it in as many popular formats as possible (pdf, cbz, cbr, epub, mobi, etc.) Don't just rely on Amazon as the competition there is fierce (and Amazon's pricing options are horrible). Also, having a website where you can offer to directly buy the comic from you can also work. Building your audience as a freebie webcomic first is also a viable option and then having it crowd funded (just look at Order of the Stick, for example).

Anyway, these are just general ideas. But good luck to you and your efforts!
