Foam Party [Commercial]

Let's go to a Foam Party!

Use this set for Iray where ever you need soap suds, tiny bubbles, or fluffy froth. You can scale the props to fit anywhere from a beer mug to a block party or a bath tub to a night club. This set of props includes four layers of foam, foam gun, and foam spray with two splatters. The main foam props load with a solid surface so that you can easily position them. Then apply the shaders using the 11 density presets. Alternatively, you can use draw style wire texture shaded or cartoon shaded, if you want to see the props after the shaders have been applied. Change foam color to create lava or a witches brew by adjusting the refraction color. Includes swell morphs that raise and curve the main foam props, a lengthen morph for the foam stream, and concave morphs that push the center of the splatter props away from the gun. A set of colorful lights are included. These spotlights are directed at a light pointer so you can quickly focus light where you want it. Adjust this setting in Parameters Tab/General/Misc/Point At.

Here is the ReadMe.

Thank you. I hope you find one too! One aspect is that the foam surfaces are shaders so they can be used on other props, anywhere really. The theme of this set was quite a departure for me. Here are some alternative renders I did to fully explore the product.

Sold!  Oh, so totally sold!  I've got a couple of "foam" suits from various vendors lthat are really hard to get believable in Iray.  Fortunately, the "foam on several of the suits are seperate mat zones/props so in the cart this goes!

Ha! This is a fun one. I'll be getting it, espeically for the shaders.

Here's a look at the result of my first tests, though it's a bit difficult to show a really complete view due to the nudity restrictions here and the fact that the foam suits don't offer complete coverage of the naughty bits.  In any case, this is Powerage's foam suit for G3F with the Foam party shaders on it.  Basically the big foam globs, which are a separte region on the suit, are now just the basic FP shader, though I did enlarge the basic texture a bit to make the bubbles grainier so that they'd read a little better.  The rest of the suit, which originally had a photgraphic texture of bubbles, now has the FP shader appled instaead, to which I added the cutout opacity, normal and bump maps from the original textures, then kicked the displacement up a couple of notches.

Thanks for posting. I didn't expect a mixture of foam- close ot the skin and bigger fluffy ones. Looks really nice. Is the wet hair a product or did you alter it to look that way? Thats really cool too.

Thanks.   I'm still massaging the effect, but overall I'm pretty pleased with how your foam shaders have upgraded this product.  It's much more "bath foamy" than than the mapped textures the suit originally used, which tended to look more like frosting than soap.  Really, the only thing that's lacking in this image is some large unpopped bubbles, and while Powerage's original texture does have those, I've usually had to go back and redo most of them in post to get the glossiness I want.

The hair is simply Summer Wet Hair by Linday https://www.daz3d.com/summer-wet-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s , which is one of the best wet hair models I've yet come across .  That and Out Of Touch's Drop Wet Hair https://www.daz3d.com/drop-wet-hair-for-genesis-3-female-s are pretty much my fallbacks these days since they both have a wide variety of shaping and motion morphs that really sell the different weight and texture of water-logged hair.

Here's the final result of my experiments with the foam suit.  I just posted this image in Zev0's skin builder competition thread, but I'm cross-posting here for those interested.

I see this scene as being an outdoors. Very nice how the foam catches the light...glowing!

Hehe thats a lot of fun. I used this pool in one of the promos, it really is a great pairing for this product. Well, the fun does spill over a bit—but who cares?

Thanks a lot! Yes i noticed that in the promos after I made this one, well the spilling happens when you put a full sized dragon in the pool...

I really like the product. One question: What yould be the best way to use if you want it for a rectangular bathtub? The foam props are all round.

  • Great product! hopefully will be out soon

  • It is out, as linked to in post 1 of the thread. This is an old thread dating to 2017. https://www.daz3d.com/foam-party.
