Best way to composite hair for use with Reality renders?

I'm wondering what the best way is to composite GE hair rendered in 3delight to a figure rendered in Lux. Any suggestions are welcome. Ideally, there would be a shader or script that knows to use the figure geometry as a mask in 3delight, then you can just paste the hair over top in Photoshop (or Gimp, or whatever).
