Afraid to download

Well, I just saw a new license scrolling agreement before I download anything. It has stuff in it about special roll-over icons that have special conditions of use and a preamble that is very vague about agreeing to pay a licensing fee and so on.

I get the need to license, I get it that that is what is actually being sold, but frankly, with the icons and the fading scroll and the agree to pay the fees language - I've had it. I am just too freaking afraid to download anything now, much less spend any money here.

Prices have gone up, even with PC membership, discounts and so on... I have never managed to use the "new" voucher system, which used to just discount automatically what I had in my cart that qualified, but not anymore... sure, there is the nifty DSON importer-installer-whatever, but frankly nothing is all that Poser friendly anymore.

I have been a DAZ customer for a decade and the changes have simply left me cold.

I have like 4 items I just finished getting and I am afraid to download them now.
Too much DAZ. I give up.

Mitchell Bentley

We are sorry that you feel that way. It is the belief of DAZ that the new license is much less restrictive than the old license, but the forums are not the place to address this issue. Please contact DAZ sales support by filing a ZENDesk ticket via the links in the Contact Us section at the top of this page. As this issue has already been thoroughly explored in other threads we are closing this thread.
