I have run into a problem when I send a building from DAZ3D to Bryce. The building is one piece before I send it over and arrives in Bryce fine, but when I try to move it around to fit with the back ground I can't move the building as a whole entity. In other words it only lets me highlight parts of the building and move it in pieces. Is there something i am missing that I need to do in Bryce once the building loads or is it something I need to do before I send the building over to Bryce. This is very frustrating because once I have the building in Bryce I have to move it piece by piece and then put it back together. I am new to this and can't figure out what to do. Please help!!!!:P Thanx!!!

they come over ungroup - group them
I don't use the bridge but as far as I'm aware, the imported model should already be grouped.
To select your group instead of the individual components, if you hold down the 'control' key while clicking on an object, it will bring up a pop up sub-menu that lists all the components that are under the cursor. This will include any group names.
Your model will have a group name that you saved it as, so if you choose that name from the list, it will highlight the whole group and you can move the object as a single piece.
Alternatively, down at the bottom of the viewport, there is a tiny row of icons. One of these icons is a little downward pointing triangle which if you click on it, will open a similar pop up menu. Choose 'Select Groups' and you will see all grouped objects listed. Just select the group you wish to move from that list so it has a tick next to it.
Hope this helps.
I use Studio often to send props like buildings to Bryce. Sometimes, they come grouped, sometimes not. If not, go to overhead view and select the whole building by drawing a rectangle over it. Then group it (G). I recommend to save it to the objects library. Then, you can use this building also for a later project without getting it again via Studio because it is already available in Bryce,
I use the same method as Horo but use a side view instead. You also need to be carefull not to accidently include other objects already in your scene with the bounding box such as the ground plane.

Thank you Bigh for the reply and the advice. I did as you suggested and grouped the building using the instancing selection in DAZ3D:-) before I sent it to Bryce and it worked!!!
Thank you Horo for your reply and advice. I first tried out Bigh's idea and it worked, but then I had another thought. How do I apply more than one material to the same object but in different areas. Your way of grouping answered my question before I could even ask it. I found that Bryce allows you to ungroup a building the same way that you said to group it(except you us CTRLU). This allowed me to add different materials to different parts of the same building, then I could just group the building again and move it where ever I wanted. Many Thanks!!!!
Hey Horo, I have another question if I may. I know this may sound silly but how do you save something to your object library in Bryce? Thanx again!!!!:P

Thank you very much Savage64 for your reply and great advice. I have been transferring all of my buildings and some props and surfaces from DAZ3D into Bryce and now have many more options to play with.
Just a small point in regard to adding objects to the object library.
As Bryce is only 32 bit, don't allow any single sub folder in your library to exceed 2Gb.
If you do, the library .obp file will corrupt and you'll lose it.
You can however make as many sub folders as you want, so it's just a case of keeping them organised well. :)
best advice I can give when importing DAZ objects to bryce through the bridge for a scene is to send them to a default empty scene in Bryce first, make sure it is grouped properly, save it to the object library, (then open another instance of bryce to make sure it is really there.) close bryce, close daz (frees up memory) now restart Bryce to edit the object with materials and what not, and get it into your scene.
The reason I do it the above way is to keep Bryce from imploding
