Install Manager and content

I do like the idea of the install manager, but it does not show all the content I have from DAZ. For instance, the V3 Base and Character Pack 1 do not show up in the manager's list of items to install.

    Not all of the content in the store has been updated to work with DIM yet, so some products will not show up. (I'm guessing these products are in that "not done yet" list.)

    According to a post from DAZ, Genesis down to V4 has been completed, but they are converting items every day, and have now done well over 10,000. Gen3 will probably be next on the list.

    If there are any V4 or M4 items that you think should be on the list, and are not, please report it to the Bug Tracker.

    They've already begun Gen 3 from the sight of all my David stuff on the Product Update list. :)

    But yeah, there are definitely somethings I need to Bug Report about...

    I'm also learning there is a difference between being available in the DIM and being Smart content. Now I have to look in two places for content.

    I am not sure what you mean here?

    Not everything has Metadata, and it never did, so you always had to look in two places anyway. You can create your own Metadata for items that don't have it, but there is now a significant number of products with it.

    Have to look on the left for the smart content. Have to look on the right for everything else, in Poser goofiness. M4 not showing on left. Odd.

    I installed M4 using the DIM, and there is an icon in Smart Content for him, under Default > People > Male, the icon says Micahel 4.CR2, and has an 'Actor' label on it, and a DS icon as well.

    If you have anything selected in the Scene, you probably wont see it, especially Genesis. Make sure there is nothing selected in the Scene pane or Viewport, then you should see the M4 icon.

    Sometimes the DIM doesn't see new purchases. I've had to wait a few days to see various items. Some of these are actually new, not old products. So watch out for that.
