Content Folders and Databases

Hi all,

I am in the throws of buying a new iMac 27" (latest model with all the bells and whistles) and would like to know the following (question):

Is it possible to copy the entire "My Library" structure from my old iMac onto my new iMac, as well as the database? Both will be running OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion.

Or, do I just copy the "My Library" then rebuild the database on the new machine?

If I copy the database will it screw up?

Or, more to the point is any of this possible? I really don't want to have to re-install all of my content, all 58Gb of it collected over the years.

A combination of purchased stuff, free stuff and content that I have created.......
