Suggestions for the Shop

Hey Daz,

Thanks for building these awesome apps and the plethora of morphs, add-ons, and all the cool stuff. I love it!

I want to start contributing and want to start selling my 3d assets at your Shop. However, it'd be good to get a feel for what's selling well, what people are looking for or what their frustrations might be on my products or existing products on the shop.

So, I'd love to see the following:

  • Ability to rate and review items.
  • See a best sellers list by weekly, month, all time, etc.
  • Ability to follow a particular artist/creator, etc.

I believe 3docean / envato market has an excellent implementation of some of the suggestions I provided.

    I'd like the ability to filter for sale items.  I have a huge wish list and sometimes I only want to see what's on sale from that list.  I sort from low to high, but still I'd like to see only items on sale.

    There's a "wishlist only" filter, as well as the ability to sort both the sales page, and your wishlist by discount. (And lots of other features as well.)

    I'd like the ability to rate and review, as well. Besides the very few items I've purchased that I'd like to downrate, there are many items I just love. Right now I'm enjoying the heck out of the G3M Lekkulions, and I'd love to have a way to write a review and some recommendations on their product page.

    DAZ disabled (or didn't enable) this capability in the store software. Why is uncertain, though I'm leaning toward them not wanting to have negative influence on sales.

    Shop Request,

    1) 'Add to Cart' on Main shop page. Most Items I know if I want or not by looking at them. This would keep you from having to go into the item, 'add to cart', and then back out.

    2) A symbol or something to let me know if a product has a required Item and If I own that item or not. Red 'R', do not own the required product or missing one of several required products, Green 'R' if I own required product or all required products if more than one item is required.

    3) I did not do a sample pic for this but I would like to have another filter with 'Product Category' inside wishlist. Sometimes I need a 'hair' or a 'pose', or a shader and if I dont have it in my content, I immediately goto the DAZ Store and check my wishlist first. I would like to select 'Hair' in the 'Product Category', 'price low to high' in the 'sort by', and immediately I have all the hair that I have already looked at and want listed

    4) In the wishlist, I would like to be able to sort by percent off. That way I get all the biggest discounted items at the top, regardless of price.

    Works on both the wishlist and the category pages.

    Perhaps I misunderstand, but those little green shopping cart buttons in your graphic are Add to Cart buttons. You have to go into the product page to add to your wishlist, but not to add to your shopping cart. I do it all the time on my iPhone.

    Whoa! Dont tell my wife there is a 'total spent' !?! Mad props to Overdrawn, this is pretty amazing! Love what you did with the bundle stuff, especially the price per unowned product. heart And especially the '% off' in both category and wishlist panes!!! Does he check this page for requests or do we add requests to the url you provided?

    Will browser receive a notifcation for updated extensions?

    You can turn that feature off, if you don't want her to see it. ;)

    It gets near impossible to follow requests in different threads, so it's best to post there. I try to watch other threads for any requests, but I admit that I'm not reading every single thread on the forum. :) So the thread I posted earlier is the best place. We both read that.

    Depending on your browser, you may be able to turn automatic updates off. (Don't do that.) By default, your browser will get the updates automatically.
