How do I save props?

I know this is a completely noob question, but that's my status.
I created a simple sphere shape in Lightwave, imported it as an object, gave it a texture map, and want to save it to the 'props' folder.
It doesn't show up. The little '+' button doesn't add anything, doesn't even light up when I put the cursor over it. I tried saving it to Runtime>libraries>props. Nothing.
I have used Poser for a few years and although I like DS much better, the file system is a nightmare!
Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Thank you,
Robert

There is a script somewhere around here that allows you to save PP2's in DS, but if your only going to use it in DS4 then save it in DSON format, "File > Save As > Support Asset > Figure/Prop Asset".

I did precisely that and it saved it as a .duf file along with an icon in the Runtime>libraries>props folder, but the prop doesn't appear in the Content Folder in DS. It put the file exactly where it's supposed to, but it doesn't give me access to it.
    Perplexing.
Thank you for the quick response!

You need to save it in the props folders for studio not poser.

If you save it under Runtime it will only show if there's a Poser-format file with the same name -- the con will be displayed with a scroll symbol in the upper left to indicate that the DS-format file will be used instead of the Poser file.

DS-format files will only be displayed by themselves outside of Runtime.

How do I fix it? What is the correct method for installing the content? I have re=loaded this program rougthly 5 times. Could I be installing the Poser content incorrectly?

Problem is not where your installing to but where your saving to. You need to save the support asset into the prop file in your "my Library" or what ever the new my library is if you use the DIM. I can't remember the name sorry.
