I'm not getting 50% off when I load more than 3 'Things' in my basket. I've got $40.21 in the basket and only $3.13 discount. All products from the 'Thing' category. Do I have to load one from each category to get the discount? This is a very confusing sale.

You should find that once you select a payment method and then go to the next stage in the payment process that the discount will apply
My discounts always show when I go to the shopping cart without going to any steps in the payment process.
Mine too. I've tried combining 'person, place, things' from DAZ originals but not getting 50% off as advertised. Double checked that they're DAZ originals older than 6 months. Very strange.
UPDATE: I deleted all my products from my cart, logged off, closed my browser and then reopened it, logged on again and added four DAZ originals from the 'person, place and things' categories but I'm still not getting 50% off as advertised. $20.98 total in cart with only $3.15 discount (15%?) The promotion isn't working for me. I'm a platinum club member if that makes any difference?
And you are looking at the full page cart, not the pop-up quick cart?

Did you do as I suggested and take your cart further through the purchase process. Some discounts are not showing up unitl you sellect a payment method and proceed to the next stage of the process. You can always abort by using the back button if the discounts still do not show up properly.

Isn't everything already discounted by 35% then when you add three or more items you'll get a further 15% making the discount 50% in total?
Discount are never applied like that. If 35% has already been deducted, then the 15% will be taken off that figure, making 44.75%
I tried that but it doesn't make any difference. The discount still isn't applied.
Well however it's working, discounts are higher than they were yesterday. With the PC I'm seeing 58 - 61% on some items. Then a further discount is being taken off when I add three items to the cart.
I've taken them all the way up to the last step with no 50% discount., not just on this sale either. A few times I DID get a token discount on a few items, but not what was advertised, so back to bin they all went. I have no faith in discounts magically appearing during cashout, If it does not show at the order review, then there is none as far as I'm concerned.

You might be right. Browsing the categories it now says 61% off full price for each item. I'm not sure if that's for Platinum Club members only or for everyone. This sale is very confusing because it says that the items have to be in the cart for the discount to be applied but now it looks like it's 61% off of everything when browsing each category.
Has anyone put in a ticket about this yet, I wonder? I've seen a few posts over the last few months* where an applied discount, whether appearing right at the beginning or later during checkout, turns out to be a bit less than it should be. I know a call to Sales usually fixes things, but...
... I agree, if a discount to the price shown on a product page doesn't appear in the first stage of checkout, the store is severely broken and must be fixed immediately. As in, "immediately or legal consequences shall happen".

DAZ appear to have reduced them all to 61% now (for PC members only I wonder?) Anyway, I'm not sure if the 35% + 15% is on top of this discount or not. Possibly not but it's hard to tell because the prices seem to keep changing for this sale atm.
I've not put a ticket in because when I've put one in before about shop problems I've not received a response so I'm not sure if DAZ manages to read them before the sale's over which is too late anyway.
The 61% is for PC members.
When you reach the order review page, the total price of your purchases (the first price) is the total of the discounted prices (35% or 61%). The store then adds the 15% discount for the final purchase price (the price just above the Place Order button), giving you the total 50% discount.
Ok thanks! That explains it. Poor old DAZ - as soon as the sale advert goes up I'm clicking away like mad before they can set the sale up properly.
Say, if we have a "Noun" sale going on, is there any chance we can get a "Verb" sale for AniMate or an "Adjective" sale for Bryce and Cararra shaders? :)
