The download links for the update do not work

So, how are we to get the update when the download links do not work. Install manager does not show the update.

Make sure you have DS4,5+, software, and your OS version ticked in Download Filters.

I think there are server issues here. It sounds like some people aren't getting the complete list of updated software from whatever server DIM accesses.

  • Yeah, and get this, I had it installed once somehow and my virus program said that the executable contained the virus IDP.Generic and blocked it. Now, my pc will not even allow me to install it and I am left with a daz studio executable that when clicked on says that it cannot run on my PC...what a mess!!

Check your hidden files. On the rare occasion they show up there. I've had DS show in there before even though I had them selected in the Downloads tab. It don't happen to often though. Only once for me. If your having problems can you post a screenshot

I encountered this problem as well.  Is it possible that the latest version contains something that is recognised as a virus?

Any application that can download updates to itself or content used in it could potentially be considered a Trojan, or to contain one. It's all in how paranoid the developer of the anti-malware software wants to be.
