Value Category?

Either prices changed on the value category, or now Daz is playing games with what stays in the value category! You just can't win these days at Daz!

originally a PC club item, suddenly switched to a value priced item, and now increased to $6.99 and that's 59% off....

I get the feeling Daz REALLY doesn't want people to buy things as the price keeps going UP.

    We realize that there was some confusion on how this worked, so to help you out in case you missed the intro pricing on any of the new items, and to show you how much we appreciate you as Platinum Club members we’re giving you the opportunity to catch up all this week:
    From now until the end of Friday, for our Platinum Club members:

    - All Value category items will be $1.99

    - All Platinum Club items will be on sale at 30% off

    - Your discount on DAZ originals is 40% instead of the normal 30%

    Well it is not friday anymore so that doesn't really apply to my query... The increase went beyond the regular value category price of 2.99 and that has nothing to do with the Value category '1.99' "sale" ending.

    Example: Dragon Lady Dress: Originally priced at $1.99 and "arbitrarily" increased to "value" pricing of $2.99 without any warning. Then it was on an "apology" sale (my terminology) with the value category and went back to 1.99 for the past week.
    Now it is Saturday. But instead of returning to "value" category price of $2.99, it is now $6.99.

    The second time the price has increased.

    See??

    this is why I refuse to buy it. these kind of shenanigans.

    Presumably a glitch rather than a deliberate price rise - I will ask, though it's unlikely to get fixed before Monday if it is an error.

    Thanks for checking Richard.... since it wasn't just those items, in fact, many of them in the Value category, and the value category is listed as "All items $9.99 or less" I thought it was likely Daz considered 2.99 was on the low side and decided to raise the price again. :(

    I hope it is more like the old PC glitch. Remember when PC items were on sale for 0.99 and when sale ended they jumped up for a full $18+ price for a bit until it fixed?
    I hope it is the same thing.

    Well there are doing site maintenance all this weekend so said expect things to go down now and then, meaning work, not prices. Lol.
    But this does seem like the old PC glitch. Who knows?

    This is a glitch.. not sure what happened but I will see if I can fix it, if not we may have to wait until Monday ;-(..
