is this near enough?
There's a few old sailing ships for sale, but the one I picked up is really only good for medium to distant shots as it's just a very basic model (cannons below deck are only the barrels, the ships wheel is between the main deck and the raised section at the back of the ship so there's a roof over it. yet the space is not tall enough for a Daz figure to stand in. None of the doors open, the sails don't tuen and have 3 morphs: full, half and closed. The ancors are in permenent up position... etc.)
I don't know about the others yet as I've not picked them up
As everyone knows, Ships are very detailed&complex vehicles old ones or new ones,doesn't matter!Making a ship model that very detailed for close up renders/animations is really a challenge! And What is certain, it could take enormous time of a modeler!Especially if its model with box/poygon modeling techniques! Nevertheless,of course it's possible,but what can be the price and how many can be sell? I don't know? is there anyone to have an idea about this?...
Faveral's Medusa, though an older product, stands up extremely well IMO. The detail is amazing, even close up, and the sails have morphs.

Thanks for the suggestions yall but all of the models you have shown are too old, I would love a pirate ship with Stonemason level of detail :D

LOL, This has the detail you want and only 367,807 polys. Good luck getting more than one figure on it in a render.

It would work fine in DS imported as an .OBJ and is the detail level you are asking for at the normal 3D market price.. One thing to keep in mind, if you want a detailed pirate ship for DS and none of the ones posted will work for you, then you are going to have a hard time finding one. Any vendor that makes a new one will probably have to do either a detailed exterior or interior, but not both as it would be too detailed to render in DS and the amount of work involved would make the price much higher than the normal Daz pricing
