I can't get facial expressions to work

Hi,

On my mac with lion, I installed daz 4.5 and the genesis starter pack. I also registered DAZ and animate 2.
Now from animate and animate 2, I can use aniblocks, but no expressions.
I reinstalled everything, tried another mac, even leopard, but no success.
I am quite new to DAZ, Am I forgetting something?

What expressions are you trying to use, and whre are you loading them from?

In general, expressions will be in the Parameters pane when you have the figure's Head selected. If you clicked on an icon somewhere in the Content or Smart Content libraries, a slider has probably been added to the Parameters pane.

Were the Expressions made for Genesis, and what are they called?

Thanks for your reply Jimmy. Now I can use the expressions the way you explained.
But actually I was trying to use the aniblocks. In animate 2, there are some expressions like "V4 eyes squint".
Perhaps these expressions are not for genesis?

You hit the nail on the head, V4 eyes squint won't, as far as I know, work on Genesis.

Were all the other aniblocks that were created for V4 M4 ever updated for Genesis?`

Most old aniblocks had issues with the Genesis feet.

I believe the only "feet" correction available was included in this pack:

And that pack was not even made by gofigure.

So in any way I would find it awesome if in the near future either for some kind of upgrade fee or for free all "old" V4 M4 animate products could be upgraded to be fully Genesis compatible.

Was there ever some kind of communication by gofigure if they will make new official genesis aniblocks?

One can still hope, I guess. :roll:
