Aiko 5 - No documentation

Well I bought the Aiko 5 Pro Bundle, installed her, and instead of the readme I get the "We are sorry, but the page you are looking for cannot be found:" page.

Missing documentation on new items is quite common now but I thought that with a high profile release like this they would make some effort to get it right.

Things were better when we got a readme file in the installer. If this is the sort of reliability we can expect as things get more online I won't be going for any sort of cloud based stuff from Daz.

It could jut be that they forget to set the online docs live. Its happeened before where they forgot to set them live at the launch of the new item. THere is a lot gong on with March Madness just around the corner and the A5 release comming a few days prior.

yes, a readme would have been VERY usefull trying to locate her .duf file to import into Carrara 8.5beta.
fortunately Smart Content decided to start working again out of the blue so I could load her from the browser.
This is however not always the best option for me, can result in the hideous "an error has occurred" or io error, so I prefer to use import and browse to .duf files
    still have not found it
not under people genesis or any of the other usual places
but Carrara DID actually find her inspite of not opening Daz studio so DIM obviously works better than DS installing metadata.

I tried again a few hours later and the readme file was there. She has a loader in People:Genesis:Characters with no subfolder but she has subfolders under Materials and Poses.

When this happens I usually just do another install into an empty directory and see what gets installed. I wanted to see the readme because I think Aiko 5 puts things into the shaping tab and you can't find these by looking at where the files are, but the readme doesn't say anything about this so I'll just have to go and look for settings,

I prefer to move back to readme files, i don't like the CLOUD idea.
    and offline studio manual.

AH! that makes sense, she is a morph, so under parameters, no .duf
materials would have the uv .duf I need.

A Heads up about Read me's at the VERY top of all is the option To Export to PDF or ODT for your on files.

That's what I am using to store the Readme's on my own PC.
The problem arises when Daz is faster releasing the item than the Readme ...
Happened with the YoungTeens, happened with Aiko5 ...
The Readme's for the base items ... well, in the case of Julie and Justin it took weeks.
Aiko 5 is fast with one day later.

P.S. the Readme for the "Fantasy Poses for Aiko 5"
    is under "Fantasy Gaming Poses"
    http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/15778/start
    (that took some hunting)
