Haters gonna hate, homophobes gonna be homophobic.

3dream and Mairy's Helios Hair can have looks very much like that with its morphs.

Japanese I presume. Reminds me of Hyde.

Who is that anyways. If the hair does not excist you might find someone willing to make one for sale or free. If you have DS, someone who has Look At My Hair might be willing to do it up in there for you. Would be handy since the free LAMH player is comming soon.

It sure does. If you click on the "readme file" link on the left you can see all the fits it comes with. That's irrelevant though, for future reference; if you parent instead of conform a hair you can adjust it with scaling to fit about anything.

These here at DAZ kind of look like it too: http://www.daz3d.com/austin-hair

In that case, let me explain.

Sometimes men are born with pretty faces, and sometimes those men wear thigh boots, makeup, and spiky hair. This look was especially prevalent among certain musicians in the 1980's as part of that decade's general flamboyance, and has subsequently also been popular among a smaller group of contemporary artists, including several from Japan. Some people, including your humble obedient and the OP, are fans of this, while others are not.

    Does that help?

Let me explain something in the same vein.

When someone sees something that looks a lot like something else, say a water droplet that's been photographed to look like a tiny globe or a simulation of polygons and light bounces that approximates the look of a human being or a man with an androgynous figure and style that deliberately makes gender ambiguous, they'll often remark along the lines of 'that's a ____?!?'

It doesn't necessarily mean they're prejudiced against water droplets or 3D renderings or pretty men. Sometimes, such remarks are even a sign of appreciation. I personally find it far more worthy of note that you automatically relate this look to being gay, and further, assume everyone else does the same.

Also by 3Dream and Mairy, Hermes Hair for A4 V4 M4 and H4. I don't have this one, but I have a few female hairs that I use for men which work very well for hair-rockers, visual-kei artists and bishounen.

Another possibility is Jamie Hair by Swam. There is a girls' and boys' version, but I think the girls' would actually be better.

Strand based hair is ideal for that sort of thing:

    - Look At My Hair (plugin for DS sold here)
    - Garibaldi (upcoming plugin for DS in open beta)
    - Poser has dynamic hair
    - Carrara has dynamic hair

I was just going to suggest Helios Hair, but see SY beat me to it. ;-) BTW, it's by plus3D and Mairy, not to be confused with Mairy and 3Dream. Mairy successfully collaborates with both of them. :-)

Oh, and yes it fits V4. In fact, it fits pretty much all the female AND male figures, so it's pretty versatile.

    My bad!

Ok, you guys, nobody else is allowed to have 3d in their names, it confuses idiots like SickleYield. ;)

I really like Helios Hair and Xell Hair for characters with big spiky hair. I feel like Anime Hair is good too, but doesn't have quite the body I might want designing a character to look like your image. Austin Hair is also lots of fun, but it leaves a lot of space open on the forehead, so I've found it works best with characters who are styled so they look better with a lot of their forehead exposed (eg. Hiro or Aiko 4 based characters).

If you've got enough hardware going on you can also put two hairs on the character. I do this a lot with Cuffed Tail plus other tailed hairs that have better tails but no bangs.

Something that might also work (or mix well with other things) is Studio Maya's (or is it MayaX now?) Edward Hair over at Rendo. It's a little heavy with raytracing on, but great hair to work with.
