How smart is smart?

Though I've installed Genesis essentials, V3, V4, M4 and A3 via the Install Manager, only A3 shows up in the smart content area under People. Yeah, this sure feels like progress.

I had similar problem first time I installed the Gen4 characters, but no problem the next time (??) weird. Anyway, do you know how to get them to show in the Smart Content area? If not, it's pretty simple. If, in your content library, they are displayed as Actors, you only have to right-click on the thumbnails and Categorize them. I believe the path in Categorize is default/figures/people/male(female)/real world. If they are not displayed as Actors, meaning there is no blue overlay on the thumbnail which says "Actor", then it gets a little trickier. Let me know if they do not say Actor, and I will elaborate on how to get them into Smart Content.

I created a new category called Aiko 4 under Categories->default->People->Real-World->Female->Aiko 4. All parts are checked. I still don't see it under smart content.

I just tried to do this as well, but like you, I missed a step which I didn't know about.

After I categorised Aiko 4, it did not appear where i had put it in Smart Content. What you need to do is to use the Content DB Editor from the drop down in the Content Library pane. Select you character, and in the box below under 'Type' , change it to Actor Character from

I did that, and it now shows in Smart Content.
