I don't get how you do animations in Daz 3.

I trying to do an animation of 2 people opposite each other conversing with typical hand movements and lips movements etc. I understand the basic concept of how to animate using the animate lite thing and puppeteer tab etc but I don't get how you would do 2 animations at once. Is there a vid tutorial on this aspect of it?

Also how can you get a different cut angle of the animation like say I wanted to have the next frame a closeup of one of their faces what would I do pls.

you need to have the correct figure selected in the scene in order to drag aniblocks onto it in the animate tab
also you can if you have the paid version or DS3A back the keyfames to the timeline for each figure once happy
sudden close ups can be done by zoooming the camera in, adding a key frame, scrubbing back a frame and zooming back and adding another keyframe.
needs to be done using a camera, not perspective view.
