Real Feel Zipped Cardigan

Greetings,
It's a gorgeous looking outfit, but I'm VERY curious...does it have morphs for unzipping the cardigan further (or less), or is it 'locked' at that level of unzipped?

I absolutely love outfits that can be opened/closed to be made more or less casual, and I was hoping this was one of them... It probably wouldn't be that inexpensive, though. :-/

Anyone have it, or have any information about it?

Thanks muchly!

I'm afraid it does not open any more, it is locked as it is. I am currently learning how to make my stuff more versatile with open/close morphs without sacrificing the mesh sculpting quality, as you know each additional morph makes the mesh harder to handle for end-users and the last thing I want is to slow down a customer's PC to molasses in January with my stuff LOL

Hopefully new Genesis and DAZ Studio technology will help me to overcome this paradox :)

Hi 4blueyes, open or not, it'll be in my cart very soon as i did for your recent releases wich i really enjoy (cozy turtleneck's awesome)

Have a question about your future releases, will there be hooded sweatshirt and/or hooded jersey dress ? I'd love to have some

Bummer, I really like it, but yeah, open / close would have pushed this into a purchase for me. I'll probably hold off since it is static. But clothing with movement is a top consideration for me. The extra versatility and control is always great. Understand that it isn't always possible though.

Is the mesh full resolution or is it subdivided in DS? Fewer Polygons means smaller morphs. :)

Reported incorrect data folder path when using the material presets that comes with the product. Mantis Issue: 0049680 3/4/2013
Note: If you click OK button on the error message, the texture will load.

Edit: Clarified this only applies to the 13 material presets that comes with the Real Feel Zipped Cardigan product.

yep i've noticed that too, just forgot to mention it
btw, it's only doing this with the set of materials wich goes with the clothing item, the extra materials set you can buy to have more colour choices is working ok

    Lovely render there, scal.64.ps :)

Thanks for the heads up on the bug, please report it to DAZ Help Center too, the more of you report it the faster it will get fixed. I will contact DAZ directly as well and try to see what went wrong after I submitted the files to DAZ and they made the installer.

    Greetings,
Just to let you know, I did end up picking it up. Despite the lack of open/close morphs, it's still lovely, and inexpensive.

For what it's worth, I noticed it loaded with smoothing enabled, and yes it felt very slow. Once I disabled smoothing, and instead adjusted the outfit using the fitting morphs and other tricks, there were no performance issues or slowdowns.

It shrink-wraps a bit for a sweater, but I have morph packs that help with that.

The end result is lovely, however. Here's a quickie render I put together with it. Just a few minutes of testing, really.

Thank you for your responses, and I look forward to seeing what you can do with new Genesis and DAZ Studio technology! :)
