I tried to follow a youtube video on this, I don't see the joint editor in my tools menu. Is this a separate install somewhere?

It's in the tools menu, Alt shift J will activate
You can also go to Posing | Shaping tab and select it under tool settings

do you want to make the origin of the object an XYZ value of Zero? If it is not a figure, but is instead a prop with no moving parts, I would strongly suggest simply placing it exactly where you want it to be, exporting to OBJ, and re-importing it. That is the simplest way. Otherwise, you need to use the joint editor.

Actually, the simplest way is to use the free Move Origin utility. You can find it on the free DS scripts page.

Maclean that was the link i was looking for, unfortunately only 4 shared has it and they wont let you download it without signing up by validating an email, which is more hoops of file from a webhost that is desperate to install malware on my box one way or another.

I think I may have that version at home if the DS3 version works in DS4. if not does anyone know if Delta X15 is still around?
