Essence mentions Poppy HairL and Poppy HairR, but the pictures don't show any in the hair. Emiko, on the other hand has a flower in her hair. Is that what they are? Or did Sarsa & Thorne just put them there by hand?

Yes the poppies are included - the main promo for the bundle is what it looks like for both Genesis and V4. :)
