I have just (again) transferred the default V4 forward walk cycle aniblock included with DAZ Studio to Genesis which fixes the hips problem. Here is a link to the video showing how to do it: http://youtu.be/IP23ce0UjAQ
As you can see, Genesis hips were horrible before the transfer, but PoseMaster eliminated the problem with this particular aniblock. Another useful video to watch shows how to transfer animated poses from the timeline (more details with audio): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FguQAucPFO4
If you're having problems, then its very likely to do with a specific animated pose/aniblock.

Much as it pains me to admit it, I feel it's only fair to your product and your kind assistance, tp advise that I repeated your trial with the Forward Cycle, and it worked fine. I got a very nice transition, arms slightly out of kilter, but horrible hips fixed very nicely.
I then repeated the process with the Strut animation I failed with, and it worked fine, also!
I would still swear that I did the process correctly, but I agree with your comments above that it is best to start each trial with a new scene, it could well be that this caused the gremlins in my first attempt.
Pity I spoke in haste ... Apologies.
Regards.
PS Thanks to everyone who replied, and I look forward keenly to some Genesis animations in the future :ohh:
I haven't used this feature enough to explain it. See the Animate user guide http://www.gofigure3d.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=92&Itemid=86 browse down to Keyframe Mode Editing and Keyframe Levels.
I had looked at the Animate2 user guide several times. And I've watched all the PoseMaster videos. I finally found a scheme that worked for me.
1) Add Animate2 subtracks to make pose adjustments.
2) Bake to Studio frames.
3) Delete all aniblocks from the Animate2 timeline. This seemed to be a critical step I had been missing. With this step it works for me.
4) Create aniblock from the Studio frames.
5) Save aniblock.

I was wondering how to do that, too.

Hi Guys,
Let me know what you think? This is a walk cycle on the Genesis / V5 rig. It took some time because the new rig has more joints and some of these are a little offset from the V4.2

There is no IK in Poser for the Genesis rig which means that animating in Poser is almost unachievable. I'm hoping this will change sometime soon
All the best

WebAnimate worked for me, I saw yesterday a tutorial on how to get it working - check their youtube channel
Earlier this week I took a look at the PoseMaster items in the store; the next morning (after deciding to buy) I searched for "PoseMaster" and both packages came up, but clicking on them brought up a "404".
Now, when I search for them they don't show up at all, and the links in this thread get me "404"s.
Is something up? Are they coming back, have they been purchased by DAZ, are they just... gone?

Gosh, you are right! I searched by vendor cridgit, and it shows (2) in the the vendor view, but when you click on cridgit it says there are no products. I hope this is a temporary glitch. I own posemaster and love it.
Edit: When I click on cridgit's name in a forum posting, it says "The member profile you requested is currently not available". Uh Oh!
