This has new icon images and there was a minor change to when glutes were moved side to side where there was a small distortion in the"crack" area. This update is to allign with the Male version which I will be releasing soon. Making sure all versions are structured the same, so the female version was updated to match changes made on male version..

thanks for the update, Zev0.  :)

that said:  i got duplicate formula alerts after installing the update via DIM.

uninstalling and reinstalling via DIM didn't solve the problem.

after uninstall 2, i checked, just in case.  and the Glute Control data folder had been deleted completely.

another reinstall via DIM, and the duplicate formula warning popped right back up.  so i uninstalled again.

seems like there might be an issue with the update files themselves?

    log excerpt attached.

Ditto. I have the same problem as Jardine, and at least one other person who started another thread about it: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/366591/wierd-error-after-update#latest

Thanks I'll get tester on this as soon as they available. Thanks for the log.
  • I also am experiencing the same problem after installing the update via DIM.  Funnily enough, the error message went away after I uninstall it via DIM.  Is that the permanent solution for the Duplicate Formula error?  Thanks in advance

  • Zev0Zev0 Posts: 7,089
No not a perminant solution. I will have proper update once I consult with tester.

The latest update seems to have cleared the 'duplicates' error. Thanks, Zev0!

Edit to say I am using DIM, not Connect.

I really like the Glute Control Morphs. I've wanted a product like this for a long time. Many thanks. I like that it works with Puppeteer as well as with dials. I used the dials in the first work I'm doing. For the guys, I'd also like chest/pecs/abs control morphs, and I hope you'll consider such a product. It (or they, maybe several products) would make struggling or wrestlling scenes more real. Or, any other kind of heavy physical activity scene could be made more real.

Just got through looking over your store. Skin Builder morphs for the G8 guys would be wonderful, or even G3 and G8.

  • How come my G8 Female character goes into the A pose whe I use the puppeteer? It ruins my poses. Not sure how this is supposed to work when they need to be posed before you move the breasts.

    @ziatonic

I don't understand your question / issue. You can move breasts throught the Parameters tab or with Zev0's script. You don't need Puppeteer for any of this.

  • I just bought the breast /glute bundle for G8F, but the glute morphs are not shown in the shaping pan. The breast morphs are in place.

Some morphs pose based and are located under Posing Tab, or Pose Controls on the figure. Check under Chest and Hip.

Is there a remove puppeteer functionality somewhere? I just spent couple of hours to do an animation, and when everything else was ready, I decided to use breast control puppeteer. Of course I didn't save before that and forgot to change puppeteer to "Preview" before I changed the depth a little. Now of course my entire animation is messed up, and puppeteer does not follow undo command (CTRL + Z), so you can quess I'm pretty annoyed. Also I can't a way to remove whatever that edit mode is doing ( right clicking the ball has no delete or anything ) so I was thinking that maybe I can somehow remove puppeteer, so that stupid "Edit" mode does not mess everything up, but can't find a functionality to do so. Actually, why that "Edit" mode even is a default, and is it somehow possible to change default to "Preview"?

You can uncheck Puppeteer Pane in Help>About Install Plug-ins, then restart DS. I'd do sme testing after that, just in case there are any actual dependencies (if nothing else try loading a Puppeteer preset).

why not include a 'both' slider in glute control like we have in breast control?

    Hoi,

I never used Puppetier, but I saw this:

so... I loaded thze panel, checked preview but, uhm how do I load those icons in? xD

    Char is selected, then  nothing.

Do I need to load the script or something?

Edit: just locked in the PDF:

    http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/public/read_me/index/65367/65367_glute-control-genesis-3-and-8-male-usage-guide.pdf

And yes, it requires to load the script into puppeteer :D

You need to open the puppeteer pane inside studio and then click on the puppteer preset that came with the product.

Yeah I edited my post :D

    I didnt knowed that :)

  • I must be missing something here, because I don't see any morphs after installing the Breast Control package via Daz Central. Same for Glute Control. The only things I see are options to reset morphs. I'm on Daz Studio 4.12.1.118.

The morphs are populated on the figure itself.
  • @Zev0: Hi, is it possible to reset the morphs through the timeline? For example if you make a mistake in some frames and want to completely reset the R or L breast morph.

What does that mean ? Where can we find the morphs ?

Dear Zev0, Happy New Year, and what are the Breast Control updates in DIM for?

Hi. Happy new year. Oh I added rigging to some of the breast morphs. Wasn't really needed but since I added them to the male version I decided to update the female ones. I suppose it can come in handy if somebody stacks on huge breasts so it helps if bones are in place, but reason I never rigged them is there is no difference in deformation when they move eg rigging vs no rigging.

  • Like some people, i forget where the shape and pose controls are located for use on the Genisis Female, so here is some helpful location info:

Select the female character in Daz3d by double clicking on her within the main viewport screen

The look to the right handside menus for where you can alter the shapes and poses in detail: See attached screen shots...
