Millenium horse not in DIM yet?

I just got the millenium horse Unicorn and western tack with DIM the other day, but I still don't have the Millenium Horse, yet.

I have the Millennium Horse Bundle in my account, so I was wondering if anyone else got the Millenium horse from the DIM or if it just isn't showing up for me.

Is there a list somewhere of items that are available via DIM?

I probably could just reset it and download it, but now I am spoiled with the whole DIM thing. Plus I don't really need the horse this moment, but for continuity's sake it's nice to do everthing the same way - and I don't know how updates work - Do I have to download from DIM in order to get the automatic updates from DIM? I would suspect that is the case.

Thanks for any help.

You can get a list of your items that are in DIM from DIM, but there isn't a separate list no.

Thanks for the reply. I know I have a list in my DIM, but I was wondering if anyone else had the millennium horse from DIM.

Sometimes there are problems with bundles not coming through properly.

If it's not available yet I can wait, but if it's a bug I need to put in a request.

I doubt the Millennium Horse sku: 2104 has been converted to DIM yet as nothing from the Millennium Horse Bundle sku: 2105 has appeared in my DIM downloads either. The Millennium Horse LE sku: 3748, just appeared in my DIM downloads today, 3/6 in the early AM and it's currently a "free" item.

There is still the "My Downloadable Products" page option...

I have it in mine, so it'll probably show up shortly.

Looks like it was added, along with the LE version, at 20:16 on the 5th. Not sure what time zone though! So it should be in your DIM list.

    Thanks for all the comments.

I checked just now, still no Horse.

I guess I'll give it a day or two.

I didn't get the DIM for a whole week after it was first released. They may be staggering the releases of items too.

I haven't received the MilHorse either. Kind of makes me feel uneasy when I hear other people received it as early as two days ago, and I still don't see it in my DIM........

I still don't have the old horse either - I bought mine in the original bundle, with the two texture sets. How did those of you with and without the horse buy yours?

I bought the "Millennium Horse Bundle" and I do not have the horse yet. http://www.daz3d.com/millennium-horse-bundle - bought it in July 2010.

OK, this may be the answer, though not sure. I went and checked my order history, and I bought the Millennium figures, namely Cat, Dragon, Horse, etc. separately, and I bought the 2 MilHorse texture packs later the same year I bought the MilHorse.

Maybe that's why I have those files already in DIM.

Sounds likely - now I just need to figure out who at DAZ to na...ask about it.

Nag would be appropriate in this situation.

There is a nag morph isn't there?

Oh dear, I didn't spot that. I've made a bug report - I do wonder if the problem is that the textures aren't ready so they can't do the whole bundle at once, but we'll see.

I have a question sort of related to what we get in the DIM. I've noticed that I am receiving an unusual number of "updates" in my DIM rather than new installations. For example, I just received my second update of the Victoria 4 Skin Maps High Resolution this morning in just two or three days. Is this for real or is it because I am not keeping both versions of the original .zip & .dsx file in the DIM download location? To begin with, I kept both files where they were downloaded, but then I moved both. Then I thought I read somewhere I need to keep the .dsx file so I moved all of them back.

I am not sure if this is really needed since all the .dsx files are also copied to the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\DAZ 3D\Install Manager\ManifestFiles??

Updates are possible only when the original zip and dsx, or the manifest from installing, are present so that the application can tell that the zip signature has changed so yes, they are real updates - however, they may be minor updates (say a DSON conversion) that won't affect the files in use, if they were working OK before. Unfortunately there's no way tot ell in advance, as far as I know.

OK, but do both the zip & dsx file need to be in the original install folder, i.e. the folder we designate in the DIM settings?

Only if you haven't installed it yet -- once you've installed it you don't need to have the dsx and zip in the download folder. If you haven't installed it, you do need to leave both in the download folder.

Still no millenium horse - I got the charger today even the pronghorn antelope...

Is the morse that low in the priority list?

    Edit -

It's horse of course not morse...

I really don't understand why the DIM is different for different people! I know loads of posters have bemoaned the lack of the Horse and other items, and yet I've always had the Horse, both regular and LE, the unicorn, general poses etc available via DIM. No full version of the Millennium Cat though, but the horse has been there as long as I can remember. I just checked again now and it's still there.

So why is the DIM being inconsistent for individual users? (I'm not asking you directly of course, it's more a rhetorical question, but one to which I'd be intrigued to know the answer!)

IIRC, didn't we come to the conclusion that it depends on whether you purchased the single MilHorse or if you purchased the bundle??

I believe you are correct, but that was ages ago (ok maybe a week...) Where's my horse???? actually I don't need it right now...

Oh right! I've been quite busy lately and haven't kept up to date with all the posts. I think I must have got the bundle, but it does seem a long wait for Daz to fix it for those who haven't. It presumably isn't a difficult task. However, the Daz folk are busy bunnies, I know :)
