Script to reset rotation & transposition to defaults instead of zero?

Studio has a feature built in to zero a figure/selected item's pose. This literally sets the transpose values to zero. However, for some figures, zero is not the actual default value that you want to get back to. Has anyone ever made a script for Studio (I am using 4.5, in case that matters) that will take a selection of nodes and revert them back to their defaults instead of to zero?

Thanks

Use the restore sub menu instead of the Zero sub menu.

I was under the impression that restore reverted back to what you'd previously memorized. Have I misunderstood how memorize and restore work? Thanks.

No, that's right - but the memorised state is the default state, unless you memorise a different state in which case I don't think you can get back to the previously memorised state other than by reloading.

Ok, so what memorize is doing is just changing the default values for all parameters to whatever they are currently set to? This doesn't affect the actual asset, right? Just the version of it in your scene, unless you explicitly save it out as an asset again, correct?

I had been under the impression that it was supposed to be a way to copy and paste poses between figures (e.g., memorize one figure, switch to other figure, restore). But sounds like that is not how it works.
