Bates motel

I would like to see a Norman Bates (Psycho) Motel and house in both Iray and 3Delight . I know there are different products out there that i could use but i would like one thats more true to the movie /TV show with both interiores and exteriors.

There is an amazingly cool one at Free3d.com. But its for lightwave. Mabe you know someone who could convert it to OBJ for you?

    https://free3d.com/3d-model/bates-house-64242.html

Then there is another at Turbosquid, it costs $19, but comes in different formats and looks werc cool too.

Sam3D used to offer a free Bates house along with the hill and staircase that wound its way to the structure.  I don't know if the items are still available.

    Sincerely,

    Bill

Blender imports lightwave, but I've always had issues with it, but there is (I noticed) an obj file in the zip folder, so should be fairly straightforward to import and add the textures.

When you import, make sure the scale is set to 10,000, that should get it at about the right scale for Daz.

    Edit

Material zones are set, but doesn't appear to have been unwrapped...

But that could be done in Blender, Studio and elsewhere.

Thanks guys for the links and the info. I have a friend that uses both Lightwave and Blender I'm sure she can convert it .

well the house I have, it is a free item but I really do not know where I got it. It is simple textured but with a view fixings and selfmade bump maps you it will work quite well. It has doors with open/close moves.
