Has anyone actually used Garibaldi Express?

Because I can't figure out how. Literally!
I purchased it, downloaded it, installed it, but I can't find it!
How do you begin?
I can't find any documentation either. I would hate to think that it's only purpose is to get the extra 20% off in March Madness...

Did you get the dialog box to add your serial number, when you started DS, after installing it?

    Documentation is here...

    Start with the Installation page.

Did you try searching the forum? There are at least a couple of long threads on the plugin. You do know that it's a plugin for DAZ Studio 4.5, correct? Is it in the Tools menu of DS?

No, I didn't any dialogue box at all.
I'll check out that link though, thank you.

Yes, That's the first place I looked.

I tried searching the forums, but I've never gotten along well with them, they're as bad as internet search engines, they tell you that there are 113,567,928 pages to look at, but they don't give you a clue as where to start your search. You can start at the top of the list, but what you need is usually somewhere in the middle (of course, if you start at the middle, the information you want was on the first page).
But if you ask right out in the forums, usually someone friendly, and in the know, can lead you right where you need to go.

I had trouble with this, too. There was absolutely zero documentation. I wrote in the forums, and got a solution, finally.

SO... let me help you get up and running.

You installed it, so now you need to make sure you shut down Daz Studio and then start it up again. You should now get a dialog box that allows you lo enter your serial number. I think the program will make you restart it again after that.

After that, you'll have a "Create Garibaldi Hair" option in your "create" menu. Select that, and then select the figure you'd like to apply the hair to. After that, you'll see the hair parented to the figure in your "scene" tab. Select the hair, and then go to your "edit" menu and select "edit Garibaldi Hair" and then the editor program will come up.

I hope this helps you get on your way, it was very frustrating to me when I installed it, too.

Once you get it registered and get started, there is a link in the GE window to his Help Documentation. He is currently working on it, but it is there, and a large percentage is complete. I found it very helpful. There are also YouTube videos. :) He has a thread in the Commons as well where people are posting help.

twalling... of 'The Sims' fame? If so, I am a great admirer, and user, of your works.
But, to the point here, that was a great tip, I had some issues with directory placements and misplaced .dll's and shaders, but once that got straight (got the info in another thread), I was so impatient, that I forgot to close Studio and restart (just clicked things and expected results like a newb). After calming down and rereading your notes and theirs, I got it going and it runs smoothly.
Thanks for your time, I really appreciate that.

Digital Lite Design, Thanks for the info, I appreciate your input as well.

So, I think I can lay this to rest and call this issue, Resolved.
