V3 Head and Body Morphs

Can anyone who has purchased the V3 Head and Body morphs tell Me if they have been added to the DIM? I originally purchased the V3/M3 Morphs combo pack, which has all of the head and body morphs for both V3 and M3 in one installer; the M3 Head and Body morphs show up in the DIM, but the V3 ones don't.

I'm trying to figure out if this is just a delay in getting the morphs converted or if it's an issue I need to submit a tech support ticket for.

I haven't seen either the M3 or V3 morphs in DIM.

I've got the M3 Head and Body morphs downloaded through the DIM, in fact, I've got all the Gen 3 Morph packs downloaded through the DIM, EXCEPT V3. That's why I'm wondering if it's just a delay, or is it a technical issue. I've got another bundle that's missing parts, hasn't shown up yet; I've already put a ticket in for that.

I know there have been some issues with bundles that they're working on, don't know if this is related to that.

Really? NO ONE else has purchased these morphs and can tell me whether they've been able to download them through the DIM?

I'm starting to wonder if the issue isn't that the bundle I purchased was delivered as one single installer. I have the same problem with the Modern Desert Soldier Bundle, which was also one installer. I can only download the David 3 version of that.

I'm waiting for the morphs too - I guess we just have to be patient.

The whole Gen3 ist currently "work in process" and they have odd priorities. For example, even Michael3 and Stephanie3 (the base packages!) were just released this weekend, while some of their wigs and textures are already on DIM for weeks.

Victoria3 herself was on DIM early, but now most of the accessoires and add-ons are low on the list.

Having said this, I have praise for DAZ: They finally solved the update-chain nuisance. I bought Victoria 1 and Michael 1 on day 1... a long time ago. Then Gen2 were updates to Gen1, and Gen3 updates to Gen2. On Mac that was a nightmare, because the Gen2 and Gen3 installers left out some files that were included in the previous version, and - even worse - they were searching the harddisk for the previous version and refused to install if they just believed that something was wrong. On top of this: Victoria 1 was no longer available for download, and the original installer relied on 68k code on a Motorola CPU on classic OS9 and there was/is no way to run this on OS-X on an Intel CPU...

However, DAZ showed mercy and "silently" upgraded my "update packages" to the full monty now - so instead of my "update" item codes, it shows the full base packages (as still on sale) and DIM downloaded all V2/M2/S3/V3/M3 base packages. Hurray & Thank You! :-)

PS: Now if they'd only decide to allow me to buy the official Laura/Luke morphs, because I would love to pay them money for it and they even still sell the same Matt & Maddie package, and I always hear that DAZ wants to earn money, and I want to give it to them, and they don't want it... anyway, I would be perfectly happy then...)

Just in case you didn't run DIM recently - the V3 Head & Body morphs were added this morning. ;-)

Just got them, and about time! I was wondering if DAZ had given up converting products or what.

As far as I see they do it constantly, but if you have bought 100s or even 1000s of items through the years, it is quite natural that "supply" of updates will start to dry out and that you will need to wait for the very last missing bits...

What I don't quite get is the fact that many items are already converted into ZIPs but not yet enabled for DIM.

Especially because that makes more trouble to install manually now, because you don't get a proper uninstaller. The not-yet-converted old style installers are no problem, because you can just use them onto your new DIM Runtime(s) and simply uninstall later (if you want it to be clean for DIM).
