    Yeah, that's a fun one. Go back up to the Windows > tab and deselect it, in effect closing it. Then reselect it and it should open at the smaller size. BEFORE moving it anywhere, on the upper right corner with the tiny arrow and lines, click there, and select the option to make the tab "undockable". One has to do that everytime one opens it.
