Animation of growing tree in Carrara?

Still a noob in Carrara, so I have not looked into the plant/tree part yet, but those of you that are in the know, is there a way to create an animation of a growing tree in Carrara?

there was a thread on it on the old forum, Dimension theory did one using replicated smaller trees and scaling on a bigger one if I recall.
someone might have a link or find it, I cannot.
