Does Luxus provide a hardware-assisted alternative to the 3Delight rendering engine?

    Luxus is a plugin to use transfer a DS scene in the Luxrender engine, similar to what Reality does. Luxrender is an unbiased render engine, and can use GPU as well as CPU. It is open source.

    Ah, now I think I understand - the Luxus plugin provides a sort of "bridge" from Daz to Luxrender, and Luxrender then produces the final render, yes?

    Correct.

    Luxrender is a stand-alone render engine, Luxus just makes it a bit easier to use with DS Scenes.
